In September 2007 the NGS was approached by a friend of Katarzyna Jakubczyk, a breeder in Gdynia, Poland, who had gerbils with wavy fur and curling whiskers appear in the litters from two separate Saffron (aaeepp) pairs. These are some of the pictures we have been sent. Similar gerbils have also been reported from The Czech Republic.
